Today on 24 Days of a Baltic
Christmas we travel to Vilnius for a cup of coffee! I’m delighted to feature
Coffee1 as our guest on Day 16 – enjoy!
Coffee1
is an independent, family owned specialty coffee shop located in an amazing
& artistic area of Vilnius - Uzupis. Passionate about good coffee, people
and hospitality, Coffee1 awaits guests and coffee lovers with a constantly
rotating menu of locally roasted single origin coffees and a view to the Uzupis
Angel.
Starting
today, December 16th, the Coffee1 window becomes interactive! The
self-service hot chocolate station is open every evening 4-6pm until December
23th, awaiting cold and shivering tourists/visitors/friends/neighbors with a cup of hot chocolate – with marshmallows of
course!
A sincere ačiū to Coffee1 for joining us on the series! I also must mention that the coffee shop windows are
decorated for Christmas, and this year Coffee1 is competing in “The Most
Beautiful Christmas Show in Vilnius in 2017". The online contest is open
until December 20th when three winners will be announced. You can
find all the entries and vote on your favorite here. In addition to online votes, the showcase will also be judged by a panel that
will take into account not only the decorations, but also the story of what entrepreneurs
are trying to tell.
Coffee1 is located at Uzupio 9
in Vilnius. I hope that if you are in the area you’ll stop in to warm up with a
cup of coffee or hot chocolate, to enjoy the šventinė atmosfera, and take in the view of the Uzupis Angel. Thank you to Skaidre from
Coffee1 for bringing us to Vilnius today on 24 Days of a Baltic Christmas; please make sure to check them out on Facebook and Instagram, as well as vote for your favorite window!
We hope you're enjoying your weekend, and please join us tomorrow on Day 17 for a snapshot of Christmas puzuri!
