I’ve got a bit too much on my plate right now for a proper post, but I wish to share a few photos of our most recent trip. My friend Evdoxia is originally from Greece and it was our luck to be able to visit her while she was there for the summer holidays with her children. Stephanos is two days older than Lauris and both of our families moved to France around the same time, so we have grown quite close.

We were able to fit a lot of visiting, sightseeing, good food and great memories into a very short week, and I hope to soon document our time there. Having just returned after a long travel day to temperatures almost half of what they were in Greece , the long days in the sun seem as if they might have only been a dream.

Happy (belated) Bastille day, and may you have a wonderful week.

Oh how fun! This is on my bucket list of things to do for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so beautiful! I think I might find myself having dreams about a sunny day in Greece tonight. (I hope so, at least.) Those white and blue walls against that gorgeous sky... It's almost too much, as I sit here eating my soup and watching the rain fall, like I've been doing all week. Looking forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteThe white and blue of Greece is so beautiful. Lucky you to be able to spend some time there and bask in the sun :-).
ReplyDeleteSantorini has been my dream destination for ages now. I'm officially jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteNow see, I read this post but didn't take the time to comment on it as I was preparing for a trip to see my son for his birthday. Greece is one of the places I long to visit. I had a chance to go several years ago with my parents, but I didn't feel like I could miss time from work. Later I discovered my hubby isn't as interested in going since he went while he was in the Army. (I hope I didn't miss my chance.)
